Nogomet

Nogomet, commonly known as soccer or football in many parts of the world, refers to a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective of the game is to score goals by getting a ball into the opposing team’s net, using any part of the body except the arms and hands (goalkeepers can use their hands within the penalty area). The sport is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). In a human resources context, nogomet represents not only the cultural significance of sports in team building and employee engagement but also serves as a valuable focus for teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and competitive spirit within the workplace. Organizations may use soccer-themed activities or events to foster camaraderie and promote a healthy work-life balance among employees. Additionally, nogomet can also reflect the values of diversity and inclusion, as it is a global sport enjoyed by people from various backgrounds, thus encouraging a more cohesive working environment.
