Premier League

The Premier League is the top professional football (soccer) league in England. Established in 1992, it operates as the highest division of the English football league system. The league comprises 20 teams that compete against each other, with each team playing 38 matches in a season, typically spanning from August to May. The Premier League is known for its competitiveness, global popularity, and high-quality football. Teams earn points based on match results—three points for a win, one point for a draw, and none for a loss. At the end of the season, the team with the most points is crowned the champion. The bottom three teams are relegated to the EFL Championship, while three teams from that league are promoted to the Premier League. The Premier League is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious and commercially successful football leagues in the world, attracting top talents and significant media attention.
